Where to buy a good access panel for drywall?
Hey everyone, I'm renovating my bathroom and need to install an access panel in the drywall to reach the plumbing valves without tearing up the wall every time. Does anyone have recommendations for a durable one that's easy to install and looks decent once painted? Preferably something plastic that's impact-resistant and not too expensive. I saw some on Amazon but wanted real opinions first. Thanks!

I've used a few different ones over the years for similar projects. A solid choice is a heavy-duty plastic model that's UV-stabilized so it won't fade or crack easily, and it provides good access to plumbing, electrical, or HVAC stuff behind the wall while staying pretty flush. You can paint it to match the wall perfectly. I got a reliable access panel for drywall that's about 14x29 inches, which worked great for covering a larger opening without looking bulky. Installation is straightforward—just cut the hole, fit it in, and secure it. It's held up well in a moist area too. Hope that helps!
