To say this trip was amazing is a despicable understatement. Up's, downs, Tragedy, Redemption. Breakdown, recovery, unexpected 2800 mile tow home only to continue another 3000 something miles. The pictures and video in this edit have no comparison to the awesomeness of it all. There were definitely rough patches but the light shines through!

The Arizona Flying Circus is quite possibly the craziest aviation gathering in the North America. Every flying machine known to man shows up, and its truly the wild west. Chris Montes and I brought our paramotors down. Each year in Feberuary people make the trip to a remote airport in the Sonoran Desert. Part fly-in, part Burning Man, part Wild West, the Arizona Flying Circus has evolved into a rather unusual event like no other. #paramotor#aviation#flyingcircus Certainly, a large variety of pilots make it out every year with their flying contraptions, but you will also find wild costumes, explosions, enormous fires, great food, fireworks, flamethrowers, artwork, firearms (yes, there is a shooting range on site), live music, and the infamous bowling ball cannon. ​ The AFC is a purely volunteer effort guided by our love and passion of flight and to celebrate our remaining freedoms, meet and reconnect with fellow birds of a feather, and gather at this breathtaking place. Het was een geweldig evenement, zoals ons was beloofd ;) Motown ligt zeer afgelegen in het midden van de Arizona desert, alles en iedereen straalt het gevoel van vrijheid uit en de uitzichten zijn onbeschrijfelijk mooi! The last portion of our paramotoring trip in the South-West was the Flying Circus Fly-In. Thanks Mo for organising such an event. We flew a lot in the desert, flying around the giant cactus. There is one word that can describe our stay in Mo Town; FUN. La derniere portion de notre voyage paramoteur dans le Sud-Ouest américains s'est déroulé au Flying Circus Fly-In. Merci Mo d'avoir organisé un tel évenement. Nous avons fait de magnifiques vols dans le désert en tournant autour des cactus géants. Il n'y a qu'un mot qui peut décrire notre passage à Mo Town; FUN.

PPGs-Powered Paragliders, PPCs-Powered Parachutes, Hot Air Balloons, Ultralights, Huskys, Pipercubs, WWII planes, Cannon Ball Bingo, 250 Christmas Tree bonfire, RV's, camping, Shooting Range, BBQ Buffet, Chinese Lanterns, - Holy Cow - How can anyone not have fun at an event like this! And the greatest group of people you could ever wish to meet. People came from all over, Minnesota, Alaska, Iowa, Texas, California, Washington, etc. Thanks Mo Sheldon and all of those who helped make Arizona Flying Circus 2016 one awesome event!
